Like a candle in the wind, Mikayla Robinson’s flame has been extinguished here at Easy Social Media (she left for greener pastures — running social marketing for Palmers, congrats Mikayla!). But like a phoenix from the ashes, the whip-smart, social media-savvy Aimee Short has risen to fill the void and bring an electric new flavour to the team.
Aimee’s past work history is shrouded in mystery, with a colourful assortment of side-hustles and main-hustles charting her course toward Easy Social Media. We’re still not entirely sure how she landed here (we’re not totally convinced she isn’t a spy…), but we’re very glad she did.
Here’s what she had to say about our hard-hitting staff quiz!
What would you be if you could be anything (aside from a social media wizard, of course!)?
Running from coffee joint to coffee joint sampling the finest hot & tasty beverages on offer. Literally running, like some sort of over-caffeinated superhero — the hero our city’s cafes need.
What would your chosen superpower be?
Invincibility, that way I can never be taken down by my enemies.
Would you rather battle one horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses?
The latter. There’s a higher likelihood of convincing a few of the more disgruntled tiny horses to join my rebellion than there would be in reasoning with/wrestling a giant duck.
Serious question – pineapple on a pizza, yes or no?
Yes! All of the yes. I’m a tiny bit allergic and I’ll still load them up on a pizza — we all gotta go sometime, right?
(Editor’s note: With that, the Pro-Pineapple people in the office have edged into the majority. The next staff lunch is bound to be controversial.)
Lastly, what’s your favourite meme?
I’ve decided to enter into a form of self-imposed meme exile following a period of overexposure. Like eating two family-sized bags of chips in one sitting, you can’t even bear to look at one for a while after.
