This past week we were joined in our Auckland office by our mates from across the ditch responsible for running ESM Australia. They arrive from the Sydney office expecting a reprieve from the scorching summer heat only to discover it’s perhaps even hotter here…
The main purpose of the trip was to kick off our first annual Internal Seminar Series, where we put our collective heads together and shared all kinds of juicy trade secrets for social media success. But it wouldn’t be an ESM event without a little team building on the side, so we hit the links at Holey Moley for a little friendly (depending on who you ask) competition.
Over 18 increasingly complex holes, taking us from Hobbiton to the land of Westeros and Game of Thrones, across spinning record players and wacky Rube Goldberg machines, a winner was crowned. While we’re not here to shame anyone for coming dead last (*cough* Dan *cough), we’re pleased to say ESM NZ defended your honour by placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
Instagram maven, Mikayla Robinson comfortably took out the victory (Editor: On her second time playing. No, I’m not bitter…) and assumed her place atop the Iron Throne of staff outings. Mikayla, we humbly bend the knee.
