‘I Love Ponsonby’ on Facebook is a destination page for keeping up with the latest local news and the team have relished working alongside the PBA, applying a number of creative strategies along the way to help maximise its social success.
Embracing video content is a must for all businesses wanting to make their social pages pop in 2018, with changes to Facebook’s algorithm seeing video posts sparking up to six times more engagement than static imagery on average. From new retail outlets, bars and restaurants launching, through to large-scale events, I Love Ponsonby’s loyal, engaged following have embraced a variety of short, snappy social videos employed to great effect.
There’s always something going on in Ponsonby, but the big marquee events of the year require special consideration. The fabulous Pride Parade and fun-filled St. Patrick’s Day Parade bring immense colour and excitement to the strip and our social smarties have helped get the people out in force with a series of targeted campaigns around each of these popular events.
